Leigh Lurie, MD

Description

Leigh Lurie, MD brings several years of experience and a strong academic background to our Rockville location on 15001 Shady Grove Road. Originally from Wisconsin, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Neuroscience and earned her Medical Degree from Medical College of Wisconsin. She then moved to Washington, DC to attend George Washington University for her internal medicine residency. She worked as an internist for several years before pursuing her longtime goal of becoming a gastroenterologist, and went on to complete her gastroenterology fellowship within the New York Presbyterian system.
