A Maryland native and graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Lauren Halvorson completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Halvorson has contributed to peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and abstracts on capsule endoscopy, biliary obstruction, and colonoscopy.
