Kelly Nelson, CRNP

Description

Kelly Nelson, CRNP, is a nurse practitioner who specializes in gastroenterology care and treats all GI conditions. She is passionate about preventive medicine, patient education, and patient-centered care. Before joining Capital Digestive Care, Kelly worked as a nurse in the intensive care unit (ICU) and medical intermediate care unit (IMCU) at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. While there, she also served as a clinical coach and resource nurse to her ICU and IMCU colleagues. She enjoys traveling, reading, trying new restaurants in DC, and spending time with her significant other and their cat, Theo.
