About Dr. Shay Amir Shay, MD, is an experienced obstetrician and gynecologist with the team at VCAREOBGYN in the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. Dr. Shay earned his medical degree at Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary. He completed an internship at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Israel and completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Meir Medical Center. Dr. Shay pursued additional residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at ​​Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He then completed a rotation in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, before returning to Lenox Hill Hospital, where he is an attending physician of obstetrics and gynecology.
